Describe when the condition occurs, and how it occurs. Have you been doing anything differently with the vehicle? Has it been sitting? Give as much information that you think is pertinent to the blown fuse. Also, describe which fuse is blowing. Is it the ignition switch fuse, or what?

start with a visual inspection of all components and underhood wiring. Blown fuses are a result of a loss of resistance in the circuit, allowing excessive current to flow, which blows the fuse. Get yourself a DVOM (digital volt ohm meter) and a wiring diagram of the curcuit and start checking your power and grounds to all of the components in the circuit. Do this ONLY once the circuit passes a visual inspection.

Odds are it's a short to ground, meaning something in the circuit is rubbing the body or frame of the truck, shortening it's path back to the battery, creating excessive current flow. If the circuit powers up, then blows the fuse, odds are the short is after the load in the circuit. If the circuit fails to even operate, and the fuse blows, then the short is probably before the load.

Please reply with a lot more information on the issue.

Hi Mike, Thanks for replying to my message. I don't have a manual or wire diagram, But I did find a plug in with several wires with one that was severed and touching the emergency brake mounting bracket. I respliced the wire, But the fuse still blows. What sucks is the fuse box has no labels on which fuse is what. The fuse is a 15 amp if that tells you anything. I will try to get a wire diagram and follow your instuctions. Thanks again Mike and I will touch base again.
