Greetings. Anyone able to point me to a good source? Need to find/purchase another spare tire winch assembly. (Lowering it from beneath the truck). '90 Dakota LE ext. cab. V6, short bed.
Local Dodge dealer wants nearly $100 for this part. I've taken it as far apart as I can... does not appear to be rebuildable. Seems pretty silly to have to spend $100 when the cable breaks.

Mine broke on my 88 and there was still enough cable to attach a piece of unistrut with a cable clamp and it works fine.Hope I did'nt cause a wreck when it broke and lost the spare.Do not know when it happened.
