 Subject: Low oil pressure

Son took his dakota 4 wheeling and really screwed it up. Had to have a new dist/oil pump drive shafts on front. Ever since the 3.9 has had very low oil pressure. Rarely goes above low mark on gage. Anyone had similar problems. Has about 70k miles on engine.

Try a mechanical guage and see what it reads it
may be a bad sending unit located right in front
of the dist
