Subject: idle problems IP: Logged
Message: when I start my truck the idle revs up also when I am driving I have to shift into A higher gear because the idle rewvs too high but my tach is only reading just under 2000 rpms. this started yesterday. Anyone know whats going on? Is it an idle sensor?

Message: could also be a bad IAC motor. is there an autozone near you? they will scan it for free. of course, the codes do not always indicate the true problem -
