I was wondering if anyone could help me diagnose or knows what might be causing my problem. I have a 93 Dakota with a 4 speed automatic 4x4 and i am experiencing some slippage in 3rd gear.

Worn clutches or band adjustment. Magic fixes with fluid change etc. probably won't pan out. What's you're mileage? Get estimates from local tranny shops. Can be spendy. Stay away from the national shops like AMCO, they're crooks. Used trannys inherit some other guys problems.
