What would be a better deal? Swapping my 3.9 for a 5.2/4.7 or supercharging it? I want more power cuz my truck is kinda sad going over the hills.
I'd rather have the V8 but I'm not sure which would be cheaper with buying and having a shop install since I have absolutely no time let alone the know how to do it myself.

Supercharge it, you have all kinds of troubles when you try to swap in a V8 in place of the V6. Its not just as simple as removing the engine and putting another one in its place. There are some electrical problems that go along with the swap.

Take the $3K+ you'd spend on a SC and installation and trade up to a newer 4.7L truck. You'll have the horsepower, a less stressed/more reliable engine, possibly a nicer truck, and none of the hassle (which as you said you don't have time for anyway).

as for the rest of us, we will show v8's that us V6's can keep up with them. even though i do like that DOCH mmm. LOL!!
