MatildaSue, very few of us can say that we've never done anything inexcusably bone-headed while driving, I know I sure can't. The good news is that as you get older, fewer things seem to unexpectedly jump out in front of you ;o}

lol. And in a odd sort of way, crashing into that car did teach me a few things. So it wasn't all bad. I mean, I can't say it was rewarding or anything. But I do drive slower whenever it is raining... baby steps I guess ;-)

Take care.

Regarding Chrysler Corp. airbags- I think Josh is right, it WOULD take hitting a brick wall to set off most Mopar airbags, and even then I'd not be TOO confident. I worked for a towing service for a while, and out of all the crashed vehicles we towed in, I can only recall ONE Chrysler product where the airbags deployed. We had em with the front nose pushed back a foot, solid front hits, glancing front hits, front bumper 'V'ed from hitting a pole....it didn't matter. We made a joke out of it, we figured Chrysler was missing an opportunity to make a killing on replacement airbags!
