Subject: Knocking IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone experienced knocking while under light acceleration,if so what could be the cause?(by the way I use brand name regular gas)

Message: a couple things come to mind. try 1 range colder plugs. carbon buildup in the combustion can cause that. try putting some seafoam in a tank of gas or pour it straight down the throttle body. please, follow the directions on the bottle. could also be the plenum gskt on the bottom side of the intake manifold.

Message: These engines are common for Pinging under load. there isn't much you can do about it. the dealer can retard the timming but you loose performance.
A higher grade fuel will make a difference.
