I have a Haynes manual and it sucks...it sort of tells you where it is, but doesn't say how to remove it or get to it???

I need to fix my A/C ASAP before the summer in South Florida kicks in!

thanks

also, I wanted to check the resistor that is on the passenger side...can anyone give me a more specific spot for it? I don't know what it looks like. Does it go through the firewall or just attach to it?

I think I see something behind the condenser, but I'm not sure if that's it.

Thanks

the blower is on the pass. side under glove box. the resistor is pass side top of firewall. i think its a 6 or 8 prong plug. just pop off the 2 little screws and there it is. check that first. i thought my blower went out went through all the trouble of getting it out and put new one in and here it was the just the $8.00 resistor.

I also benefitted from "Zerv77"'s response. The heater fan on my '96 Dakota also stopped working due only to a broken wire on the resistor board. I was able to repair it.
