I have a 93 Dakota 3.9L 5 spd. My radio does not work! Does this model truck have a theft code for the radio? I don't know if it is that, or just a bad radio. It may not be the original radio. It is a tape player with equalizer and has the stick that controls the speakers. The equalizer lights up but nothing else. Any ideas?

Does your cigarette lighter socket work
and/or dome light ?
This fuse supplies power for the memory of the radio and more - if blown - at least some radios
won't work , even tho " radio " fuse is ok..

My radio didnt work either in my 93 and my friend pointed out that i should change the cig lighter fuse and bam it worked, but i changed that old radio out for a new one. Another fuse could be the fuse 5a or whatever one that is under the hood in the fuse box there. Check out my truck

My radio went out 2 years ago I now have a
chrysler infinity out of a 1988 new yourker and
added 2 more speakers in the doors and 2 behind
the seat know have 8 speakers with the equilizer
it sounds great
