Hey, does anyone know where to remove the govner on the92 3.9's? I'm getting tired of topping out in 4th gear at only 105. I still got 5th gear to play with, this is rediculas. plz help

its all in the engine computer my truck wont go any faster then 120 but im gonna get a programmer and fix that lol

So its all in the computer? there is no other sensore on it that controls the speed?
like on the rear-end, tranny, or back of the block?
and I take my truck racin on the track. and small time races in our country town.

One option get a mopar 3.9 V6 performance comp it
will remove both the speed and rev limiter
These will work on 92 to 95 obd1 trucks I am
running 1 in my 95 4X4 and its a very nice
improvement over stock better performace over
the entier rpm range
I don't have the number handy but they are
still availibly from summit racing reman by Atech
performance around $300

Larry, I was looking for 3.9 V6 performance computer for some time now, but everything out there is for V8s, including the one that summit racing sells.
95 3.9L 4WD V6, K&N, Gibson exh, JBA hdrs, JET stage II, MSD 6A, Rancho shocks , Transgo kit, 4.10 LSD, F&B 48mm TB
