Message: No, it will fit just fine. Just the bores (openings) are larger, the diameter of the piece is the same. I thought it was an awesome mod for the money, it picked up the lower end immediately - which theoretically should help a lot in the 1/4 mile.

Message: TB cable. Throttle Body cable, it goes from the lever that opens the bores, to your accelerator. You can modify your existing one, I think Bernd has the direction on his site.

Message: The TB will fit fine. Did you go to Speedtweaks.net and read the tips section? There are directions for the install, and also for modifying your existing V6 TB cable. I opted to buy a V8 cable instead, way simpler. Yes, the dodge dealership sells them.

Message: That picture on the Hughes Engines website is somewhat misleading. They've got two TB's mixed up (Stage-III is actually a Stage-II)
Stage-I: '92-'93
Stage-II: '94-'95
Stage-III: '96-Current
The Stage-II use the black crescent-shaped linkage.

Message: Mine didn't come with sensors, I just used the existing ones. It really picked up the lower end on mine, it can really take off now. But - it takes a couple of hundred miles for the computer to really adapt to it. I don't know if it will be ready for your race this weekend. Sorry, I don't know anything about the t-stat.

Message: Hi Lesley. Thanks for the offer but I already ordered my TV cable from Speedtweaks. I might still go ahead with the FMS injectors. How's your great looking Dak for gas mileage when you're not heavy on the go pedal?

Message: It's not bad actually. The problem is that I am almost ALWAYS heavy on the gas pedal, even more so since I have put more goodies on it. It's really hard not too - one thing you will like about the new TB is the immediate response to the gas pedal.

Message: I recently installed a v8 throotle body on 97 v6. I was able to grind the disk down slightly until the stock v6 throttle cable fit on it. the other cables matched up just fine. The v8 tb had a much stiffer spring than the v6. I went to NAPA and picked up a GM carb. return spring to ease the tension, it works fine so does the cruise control.
