Just want to hear it from some one else. I have a 89 dakota V6 automatic. I am reading code, and have been for quite a while, #34. This is speed control circuit malfunction or something to that effect. I don't have a 'Speed Control' mechanism or cruise control. I am guessing doesn't mean anything is wrong, just that the computer isn't reading a signal from the speed control device, which is normal cuz there is none. glad to hear what yu think.
