Message: The EGR valve assembly, which includes the valve that bolts to the manifold as well as the black plastic transducer assembly - sold as one unit. It's quick and easy to replace, costs anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on where you buy it.

Message: Does it hurt to block off the EGR with a solid gasket as I have heard some of the posts say?
If you do block off the EGR do you have to do anything to the transducer?

Message: The dealer EGR list for $92
comes with
transducer, egr valve
gasket and 2 new bolts
This is another part don't look for the cheapest
one you can find get the right one for the truck
put it on and never think about it again for
another 100,000 miles
They last on average on the dodge trucks
100 to 120,000 miles some more some less
