 Subject: fuel pump

i have a 97 dakota and the fuel pump went out yesterday.My question is i have found two different types of fuel pumps.One for a 15 gallon tank and the other for a 22 gallon tank.Is their any difference in the two.Like could i put either one on my dakota and my other question is has anyone used a walbro fuel pump and if so how are they.Thanks

the only difference between the 15 and 22 gallon pump is the sending units for the fuel gauge. if you put the wrong one in, you gauge wont read correctly.
