 Subject: V8 engin e mounts

As some of you probably know, I have the 3.9L manual dak. After talking to a buddy of mine, we started getting interested in possibly putting in a 8 cylinder engine. Our main concern was whether or not the engine mounts are the same and if the tranny would bolt up to it straight off the 3.9? If you guys have any other info you wanna throw at me, it would be greatly appreciated... I tried doing a search but the website yelled at me and i didn't see any posts about this on the last few pages.

from what I have heard the tranny will bolt up to the 5.2 and 5.9, how long it lasts is another thing. The V6 tranny is not as strong as the V8 tranny so if you use the your right foot a bit to hard the tranny may decided to not let you move in the direction you want. As for mounting points I have no idea.
