Subject: cps sensor IP: Logged
Message: I need to clean or replace my cps sensor
1998 3.9 automatic
where is it and what is best approach to getting at it I hear it's on driver side near/around the exhaust manifold
I have a stalling issue and it might be the problem
error code 1391
and also the best price/source for the part will be appreciated

Message: This describes how to do the CPS mod, but it'll also give you all the answers to your questions...
As far as where to get the part...I got it at Autozone for around $50, as compared to Advance Auto Parts which had one for around $90+ at the time.
