Whats the best way to get better gas milage? Not better performance, better gas milage. I've seen posts suggest removing stock fan and installing an electric fan...how does that help gas milage?? I get 16-17 mpg

Slight gain in gas mileage and HP by taking the mechanical load off the engine and transferring it to the electrical system. The clutch fan always spins, but the electric only spins when needed. You won't gain more than 1/2 mpg.

Drop-in K&N filter for last 25K miles showed me ZERO improvement in gas mileage and power.

check alignment and tires. big tires, running underinflated and out of line will hurt mileage.

Tonneau cover.

Many performance mods will help gas mileage...just research em carefully cuz some also make it worse.

With everything done to my truck...I averaged 16.9mpg on the way back home from IL (all highway), on the interstate portion of the trip. Didn't calculate it for the city/highway mix portion. Didn't wanna break down and start crying seeing that 16.9mpg was the BEST I was gonna see. lol
