Subject: Anti-Lock Valve Switch IP: Logged
Message: Can anyone tell me what would be causing a fault code 4 "Cosed RWAL valve switch" on a 1989 Dakota? The ABS and Brake lights came on when my master cylinder failed and now that I have replaced the faulty master cylinder, they won't go off. When I ground the diagnostic plug I get a fault code 4. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Message: Not sure if this will work for you , but try
take off a rear drum and press shoes together forcing cylinder cups into cylinder -=- the " back pressure " may ' reset ' that switch..
