Ive got a 2002 3.9 Dak and had a question of what mufflers i should buy and how I should do it. Iam lookin to get Cat Back exhaust and the pipes split and go through two 40 series flowmaster mufflers but are the flow masters the right choice to get a deeper agressive sound, I know its not gonna get a V8 sound but I wanna get close. Lookin to get as far away from a ricer sound as possible. Thanks for the help.

Definately get Flowmaster, they will help a lot in performance and sound. I prefer 50 series for the SUV. Sounds mellow but mean.

You are right bigdave I put that same muffler on my 02 3.9 and really sounds good I sent a email to Flomaster and they said to use that muffler. I'm glad I did

i have a flowmaster 40 series delta flow single 3"in/ dual 2.5"out on my 2000 quad cab v6. i love the way it sounds. it has been confused for a v8 many times.
GET IN, SIT DOWN, SHUTUP, AND HOLD ON
