Message: Hello here are a couple things to look out for first pull off the air cleaner and when you put the key in the on position check to see if the throttle position syloniod on the left side of the throttle body moves then start the truck it should move to set you're throttle then put a load on the engine and make sure that motor keeps the idle up to about 800rpm. Second pull you're cap and rotor and try to wiggle the relucter pick-up and shaft if it slaps around replace the distributor this will cause the simptoms you're describing. last just go around with a meter and check the rest of you're sensors & egr circuit. Hve fun

Message: Its throwing a code 34 "An open
or shorted condition detected in the speed control vacuum or vent solenoid
circuits." I dont have a clue what that means. Its been to every shop in my town and no one can fix it. This tranny acts the same as the other one that was in it. Fluids and filter has been changed and when they put their scan tool on it it shows its going into overdrive. Any one have a clue? Thanks
