Subject: Spark plugs stuck IP: Logged
Message: I was gonna check on the condition of my spark plugs the other day, but I was only able to check a few. Some of them seemed to be permenantly stuck. It felt like trying to back out a bolt that had been crossthreaded. I was afraid of stripping the threads so I left them alone. What would you recommend doing? Will the dealership try to screw me if I get them to change them? The only thing I tried was spraying about half a can of PB break on the plugs.

Message: I had the same problem with my daughter's Sentra.
I thought I was going to ruin her engine!
This is what I suggest.
Get some good penetrating oil. NOT WD40.
Spray 'em good and let sit as long as you can.
Back out plug a little, spray again and turn plug INTO engine. Do that several times, backing out the plug more each time. This in-and-out procedure should help get the spray down into the threads.
Worked for me.

Haha, yes I unfortunately know what you mean. I now have a nice 2-3" gash across the underside of my forearm right where the skin is the the thinnest. It scraped all the skin off and left it that purplish-pink color where the meat is showing, and then the blood comes. Probably gonna take a few months for that to even start going away.
Oh well, I will give the plugs another try this week sometime hopefully. I will put antiseize on the threads when I put them back in this go-round!
