Message: For anyone looking here present day (2022), I have a
1999 Dodge Dakota R/T having this issue. I bought a
new transmission that worked in another R/T before
mine but it still didn't fix the issue, now 800
dollars in the hole I don't know what to do. my next
guess is the computer or wires. Hope this helps
someone. I WILL come back and post if and when I fix
this issue.
