 Subject: fuel injection conversion.

what would it take to convert my 87 3.9 to fuel injection.
i know id have to get the throttle body and computer. would i have to switch the fuel pump and anything else?
i can get a throttle body and computer off of a 91 dakota with a V8 for cheap.

You need one for a V6 and while you are there
it will need the wiring harness - computer to
the fuel injectors .
Also it means getting O2 sensor mounted in exhaust
just in front of the Catalytic converter and
a MAP - Manifold Air Pressure sensor
and an IAT - Intake Air Temp sensor
along with the associated wiring..
Do you still think it is worth all the bother ??
I wouldn't..........
