What year carbs will bolt onto an 87 3.9L? I ahve an 87 with a single abrrel carb but i also have a 91 parts truck with a double barrel Holley carb and I would like to run the Holley. Can i do it? anyone know?

They have carb adaptor plates in most performance stores that allow you to convert to any style of carb you desire. I myself use them to standardise carbs on my vehicles so i can exchange parts when things get bad.
I dont know of any chain stores that carry them though. Just the local performance shops carry them around here.

i have a 87 carb but it would neead a rebuild because its been setting along time $55 shipped
i also have a complete truck 4x4 with a new rebuilt carb and converted to standard electronic ignition[be great parts truck for someone]$450,the carb cost me $200
