MIL light, P0432 code bank 2 main cat eff below threshold ...
What would be the fix for this, replace O2 sensor, wait to see if code again, or replace cat? sometimes a rattling sound is heard (cat bad) ...
Gas milage and performance is good ... vehicle going in for inspection and wont pass with MIL on.

update - OBDII diagnostics show right front cat converter needs replacement - there are 3 cat converters on this vehicle - left and right pre-converters and the main round converter - all the O2 sensors are OK - it needs to be replaced but the 2 front cats coming off the headers are 1 piece Y shaped unit - dealer price $800, the garage I took it to for the diags is checking with a supplier that can provide the part for about $300-500 ...

I had the same problem with my 2002. They replaced everything you said and it ran great afterwards. my was under warranty luckily. I replaced IAC also

repairs completed - the entire Y-shaped unit was installed (2 pre converters and the main converter) after much difficulty in cutting out the old piece (too many midwest winters rusted on the bolts - had to be torched and cut off). Entire job ran me over $700 but the truck runs good now, one O2 sensor had to be replaced (garage ate the cost),smooth accelleration thru all gears, no ping or knock, no sulphur smell, no rattle.
