You probably need to clean the throttle body
and the Intake Air Control ( back of throttle body )

2004 ought to be under warranty. if it is i'd have the dealer fix it. probably just a dirty IAC.

THANKS DAN AND Daddio but had truck in under warranty and they coulnt find problem, thinging it might even be an o2 sencer. the truck been in 5 or 6 times. they are going to give us a 2004 dodge sport because i got pissed and very unhappy with the repair man. thanks again

well have to go in saturday to finish the deal, on the black dodge. yes if you would have seen the fit i threw you would have gave me a 2005 free and clean to get me out of there. another thing is my hubbe works at the local casino been there 9yrs and i let them know that every knows what they did. i got really nasty. it will be are dodge.i really dont feel one bit bad about the cussin i gave the repair man.

the people that work @ this dealership went to school with my children. i have done my tradeing there 4 yrs. they know me. never had a problem there. they never have seen me unhappy till they back me in a corner and couldnt fix the truck,i guess you have to know people?
