 Subject: CD player problem

does anyone know how to fix a infinity cd player for a 2001 Dakota. It won't play cds, it clicks and then shuts off after trying about three times. Is the laser dirty or is it some kind of fuse. The radio resets after three or four attempts. The clock resets like it goes to a safe mode.

dude aside from the main fuse to power the thing on, there is no other fuse on it when you pull it out, prolly an internal problem, the dealer will prolly want a couple of hundred bucks for a new one, your best bet is to prolly try a junk yard or get an aftermarket deck to put in there
