Message: Hey Relf and Fed,
I got my roller rockers for free because of a sponsorship I received from Harland Sharp. But, on the invoice they sent me, the price listed for the V6 1.7RR was $219.99. The website is www.harlandsharp.com. I don't think you can order online, but you can call to place an order. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Message: There's no freakin way your gonna find some harland sharps for $219 and if u can I really want to know where. Cheapest I have seen were almost $400. If I could find those for $220 I would buy those in a heart beat.

Message: Harland Sharps are around $300 last I priced them...Crower's, however, usually run around $400 I think.

Message: I'd rather go with harlands with the fact that they're not adjustable...something I just dont want to play with. Would u get a little hp going to rollers and sticking with the 1.6's for the pure fact they'd be smoother or do u have to go with 1.7's. Because if in the future I want to get a cam I dont want to have to replace my 1.7's with 1.6's after I just bought new ones.

Message: Adam, stock is 1.6. 1.7 offers a little more lift and duration. I don't think you would see a difference with the 1.6 Harland Sharps just because of the rollers offering a smoother lift.

Message: You can do a cam with 1.6s or 1.7s-- not to fear-- But adjustables are the way to go-- 94k miles on my Crowers-- No issues.
All the guys running big HP are running Crowers-- for a reason.

Message: Crowers are a little too much for my pocket. I know 1.6's are are stock but I have heard that going to 1.7's and a Cam can cause some issues.
I'm looking to not having to spend a ton of money.

Message: if you use a cam with higher lift than stock and 1.7 RR rockers, you will want to check piston to valve clearance. especially if you go with a more radical lift cam.

Message: heard alot of good things about you sam
but sorry here i have to disagree
i think this like most everything else falls under personal choice
ex. most on here like autolite plugs
myself i like NGK's
most here like pur. oil filters
i like wix
and with the roller rockers
you like Crower
i like H.S.
i ran them on my old pontiac with just about 500 ponies and never had a problem
hey not to say Crowers aren't good either
but we are talking a street motor
and talkin the 3.9's
when you add the cost with the need
of mod'ing or getting Mod'ed valve covers
just seems like alot more dollars and cents to me
& yupp just my 2 cents and i'm sure everybody else has theirs
also sure there are guys on here running each kind of said roller rockers that will give testimony to each.
