Just curious as to why you cut the spring?

I also have a 94 and rebuilt the whole front end.
Go to the Autozone website.
They have repair info. I copied and pasted their info into Word.
The repair info also lists the tools needed, and the ones that Autozone will lend. They lend the tools, but you have to pay full price first. So take your credit card. When you return the tools, they will credit your card.
To get the spring in, you need a spring compressor. I'm surprised you removed the spring without the compressor. You will have to tighten the spring much more than you think. And it's a pain. But be patient, and be careful. A compressed spring is dangerous.

hey man thanks for the info, later on the day i posted this i was able to get it in using a spring compressor, and an impact wrench, got the top ball joint back together and every thing is sound, and now onto the other side.haha

oh im making a street truck, cutting that one coil dropped it about 3 3 1/2 inches, matched it with kuhmo extas on the stock rims, now i just need drop shocks for the improved ride.
