Message: ok, i need to adjusted the timing on my truck. its an 87 3.9 v6 carbed, auto, 4wd, 31" tires
i was wondering if i could adjust the timing to get a lil more power or gas milage out of her. any suggestion on what degree +or- i should run?

Message: start at 10 degrees and go up 2 degrees at a time
until you notice spark knock on the highway backoff a couple degrees
usailly about 12-14 degrees is all you can run without spark knock[higher octane fuel will help with spark knock if you want to run more timing]
