Subject: Heater/defrost blower noise....... IP: Logged
Message: It sounds as if there is something (leaves, twig) in the heater/defroster fan.
What is the easiest way to take it apart to check this out? I am assuming I can get to it from right under the passenger side dash.
Is this difficult to put back together once I take it apart?

Message: hey , i had a mouse nest in mine and it was stinking up the truck so i torn into it and it wasn't too hard. remove the glove box and right there on the right hand side of the duct work is where the fan is located, remove 4-5 screws, remove 2 vacum hoses from the vacum valve and if i remember the faceplate should come off. you might have to mess with some wires. i have an 88 so if you have probs let me know.
