Subject: new plugs rough idle IP: Logged
Message: I just changed to 3923's (gapped 0.040)and now it has a rough idle, and the check engine light came on?
Was fine before. The old plugs (stock) were worn (gap 0.046-0.050) and idled smooth.
I going to change the wires just in case I damaged one.
Any suggestions

Message: i bet the engine light came on because of an engine cylinder misfire... two problems that i can think of:
1. spark plug wires not all the way on
or
2. spark plug wires on the wrong cylinder
check to make sure you wires are on right

Message: I know it's a *B* to get some of them out, but you might want to recheck the gaps I have seen people mash them closed while installing them and didn't know it.

Message: it's the same kit with a different name... the only thing is it rubs that a/c line to the condensor (the filter does). just bend it out of the way (or remove the a/c like me..hehehe)
