These are the mods I've already done to my 1998 Dakota V6, 4X4.
50mm stock throttle body.
Homebrew CAI.
K&N drop-in air filter.
gasket matched ports & relieved injector bosses on intake manifold.
1/4" aluminum plenum plate.
Gibson side-swept single exhaust.
Next, I will get FMS 19# injectors and I was thinking about getting some Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers after that. I think that my 50mm TB may be too large and sluggish. Should I get a different size, or will the 1.7 rockers work well with the 50?

Since you already have the 50 installed, keep it, it's not flowing as much as you think anyway. The 1.7's will help quite a bit. Add a Superchips, some gears and you will be one happy owner.

sorry for posting under this, but i just installed a 48mm F&B and i have exhaust, chip, and intake. It seems like my accelleration is lagging more. It is hard to tell if my HP has changed since i didn't have it tested, but should my acceleration be lagging with bigger tb?

Greg, I've heard that from a number of people. It seems many of them don't care because they gained so much on the top end. If you drive like you are in the Fast and the Ferious then they work. If you drive like you have a truck then they aren't so great unless you go to lower gearing and or a TC.

Just remove the cable and see if it lines up with the ball stud in a free state. If it does, don't mess with it.

I know this may sound stupid, but which cable is the TV cable, the plastic one coming directly from the back, the outside one from the front, or the one closest to the TB.

I believe it is the one from the back. You should be able to see that it goes to the tranny.

N56629, I don't think I want to change my gears, but do you think adding the rockers will help balance out the large TB?
