have any of you had an oil pressure guage that sometimes read a little high when it is just idling at a stop light. It reads the same pressure as if I were doing 55. Is this harmful to my 99 3.9 with 48000 miles?

before my truck get to operating temp the gauge will stay high at idle. once it warms up it does move more. if you are worried about it you could check it with a mechanical gage. it sounds like, to me, that you do not have a problem.
