Message: is there supposed to be resistance between the terminals of this sensor.bk/or and bk/bl are the wires. does anyone know the range of this sensor and would adding a resistor to the curcuit benefit ?

Message: Are you talking about the Intake temperature sensor? If so ranges from approx 350,000 ohms at -40 degrees to approx 395 ohms at 248 degrees. Adding resistance into the circuit SLIGHTLY advances timing and fuel input thus you gain a SMALL amoutn of power from this. I have a switchable 20k ohm resistor added in that tells the PCM that the incoming air is around 45-60 degrees. Keep in mind that this doesn't affect much due to the fact that air at that temp would be MUCH more dense than the actual air entering the ignition chamber. Cold air = more dense = better ignition.
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.
