in it feels like someone welds two cylinders
onto your block! Sorry im a little excited, didnt
expect that big of a gain!

Message: Actually its the sneaky pete kit with a "custom"
jet from a local speedshop works out to about
a 37 size which is roughly 38-40 hp dry shot.
Thats why i said it was a suprise to feel that
kind of a gain! :-) I think i installed it in a pretty
cool way also, i hid the switches in the flip up
center console and tuck the bottle into the
corner of the truck(out of view but not out of
reach to turn on during driving). The best part
is that i paid $225 bucks for it ! Its essentially
the kit NOS just came out with "made for the
dakota 1998-01" Hmmm i wonder why they
supposedly stopped making the sneaky pete
kit? look for one on ebay thats where i got
mine. Also, get an air fuel gage to keep an eye
on your mixture. I tried the 20, 22 and 24 size
jets (the ones that come in the kit) and they all
keep the mixture well in the safe range, the 37
runs it down to mid to low stoich so even thats
still safe! Get one i highly recommend it!!!

Message: Like Intense, I have the NX kit #20921, its an awsum kit and I couldnt imagine anything smaller than a 10lb bottle.
10lb lasts me almost a full tank of gas at 75 shot.
I just got finished putting in a NOS pressure gauge in my dash, gotta know what kinda pressure you have to stay consistant.

Message: Well,
The "10oz" bottle has lasted a few good runs
so far, prob 20 sec worth so far a little more
and its about half empty. Remember .8lbs
NO2 = 100hp shot *10sec. So the 25 hp jet
(24 size, i switched back to that to conserve
no2) lasts 40 seconds roughly on a sneaky
pete tank. Plus I dont push the button the
whole time on a "run" , maybe 5 seconds or
so, on the 38-39 shot your moving plenty fast
for street conditions. The trick to the sneaky
pete bottles is heating them up before you use
them to get the most out of it. ( the bottle
heaters are way too big so I just bring it
inside) Anyway, its great. Hey Intense do you
think i could just add on a fuel solenoid? and
get a jet from NOS?

The other stuff i figured on, but i guess it can
be done then, i just need the list of jetting
sizes for each shot, prob wont do it for a bit but
hey its something to think about during
classes, damn college gets in the way of
"truck time" :-)

Message: Best kit: NX (Hands down)
75HP shot does wonders to the performance with the 100HP shot doing more to the driver as well (grin-factor). ;)
The Sneeky-Pete system really needs (at minimum) a 5lb bottle (I used that for a while) and the 10lb bottle will last pretty much all night at the track. Remember...the 35HP shot doesn't use as much as the 75HP shot.

The 08006NOS is a "Universal" kit for 6ers. They do make one specifically for 4.6 Mustangs. It probably took Holley since '96 to make a kit to make those poor little ponies actually get out of their own way. There's no fabrication needed for this kit. Just plug and play baby! :-)

my wife just ordered me a sneeky pete kit, it'll be in by wednesday, I already got the size 36 jet and guage and switches, can''t wait to run it, btw Intense, instead of the Off-road NOS octane booster, try the Racing formula w/ nitro methane, I picked up about 5 horses, seriouly, can't wait for the NOS though.
