why is there 8.564 volts running through my ignition wires when my truck is off? normally i have my radar detector and my phone charger plugged into my "y" adapter and my cd player will stay off. when you pull that "y" adapter out, however my cd player decides to turn on. doesn't it normally take 12v to run a cd player? should a pricey eclipse headunit be causing this interference?

There should be no volts not running
check each wire see were its coming from
