Message: Yes I checked out my plenum gasket cuz I had gas in my oil and parts wont come in til wednesday and I need something to drive so I try my truck...wont get warm but it heats up to 210...stops there but I haven't gone far enough probably to get it any higher. After a while I think...huh lets check the oil and see what's happening. And what do you know...it's mucky wow aren't I a happy camper. Actually I freaked out and am now sitting at home because I need not to destroy my only ride. Really didn't want to work on my truck but eh...more I do the more I'll learn the engine.

Message: Wow??!! What does your exhaust fumes smell like? Kind of sweet and whitish in color? Might be your head gasket.
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

Message: It's my intake. I took it apart yesterday and couldn't get any new gaskets so I tried using old and permatexing the crap out of it...aparently it didn't work. If my head gaskets blew from what I did yesterday and then running it for no more than 15 min I will freak out. Despite age wont they normally go out if it gets too hot? My temp has never been above 210. And now since I got my 180 Tstat it doesnt even get close. If my new gaskets wont fix it I'll look into that and freak out some more and probably hurt myself in the process but oh well. What else can I do?
