Message: I was wondering if someone could tell me what is the optimal air intake temp to get the best cross of mpg and preformance. I want to do a cold air intake on my truck but winter is coming up here in canada and I know that 0*F is a little cold.

Message: That would depend on outside temperature, weather conditions, and engine tune from the factory (all are not alike).
90-70 degrees F is the average but many like it either colder or slightly warmer.
