my 1997 v6 dakota is running horrible it has about 170,000 miles on it... recently i made a mistake and put disel gas in my tank. i droped the gas tank took all the disel out and replaced it with regular unleaded it ran perfect again for about 3 monthes.. but now my truck is acting up, the problem started slowly it vibrates, and it has a slow take off, terrible gas mileage, i changed my plug's & wires but the problem still exist. please help me with this problem.

change the cap & rotor too. run some seafoam in the tank. just follow the directions on the label. that should be a good start. also, have you changed the O2 sensor? if not you should. check for codes too.

Add a can of Seafoam to the gas tank.
Advance Auto has it.

i tried the seafoam but the problem hasn't gone away... can you please tell me where is the o2 censor i can't find it.. i thing it's the censor on the bell housing with one wire running out of it.. but im not sure

2 sensors on the exhaust(one pre cat the other post cat), but only worry about the pre-catylitic convertor one.

If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.
