Can someone please tell me what the advantages and disadvantages of moding the crankshaft position sensor are? How much HP did you gain? Could it cause any problems down the road? How does it affect my gas MPG? Thanks in advance.

advantages - a little more power, better throttle response and once you stop mashing the go pedal the first few times probably slightly better mileage.
horsepower gain- probably just a few. you don't want to or can't dyno every mod. besides each of these trucks reacts differently.
only problem maybe, a little pinging. but that can probably be taken care of with a 1 range colder spark plug or 180 tstat.
