My truck won't stay running now. Started acting up one
week ago. Would stall at intersections, sounded as
though it was getting too much gas and would choke
itself. Now it won't run longer than 30-45 seconds and
stalls. I replaced the Map sensor and the Throttle kicker
sensor (I believe that's the name of the second part). It
ran fine after I replace the throttle kicker, next day it
won't stay running. Not sure if it's the fuel pressure
regulator, or maybe a dirty fuel filter?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I should have been more specific. Once I
registered and looked up other peoples stalling problems, I
noticed more info. would have helped.
I replaced the EGR solenoid about two yrs. ago. Last night I ran
the fault codes check. It came up with code 11 and 24. 11 is
Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position
sensor. 24 is throttle position sensor signal does not correlate to
MAP sensor or throttle position sensor input below the minimum
or above the max. acceptable voltage.
I also found a posting from 12-04 with the same stalling issue.
He fixed it by replacing a bad pick up coil in the distributor cap.
I had cleaned the cap and wires last week, but thought I would
look at it again last night. In the darker area (it's sitting outside)
I could see sparks arching to the air cleaner cover when my son
turned it over. It ever sparked a couple of times near the coil
connection. I cleaned and tightened everything and it no longer
sparked, but I'll probably replace it tonight anyway. Couldn't
ever determine where it was arching from.
If I wiggled the wires it would start each time, but only run for
10-30 seconds. Then nothing until I wiggled the wires again.
I'm replacing the fuel filter also, couldn't get it off in the dark
last night. Sprayed the bolt with Liquid Wrench, it was froze last
night.
Where is the fuel pump located?

Thanks everyone for the info.
I replaced the rotor, cap, coil and wires. It's running great again.
I'm glad it wasn't the fuel pump, replaced tank filters before, not
a fun job.
I should have checked the easy things first, such as the wires,
but it seemed to be getting spark, but not fuel.
One more learning experience.
