 Subject: changing out TB&exaust

i just got my first Dakota i like it but i want to give it some more HP. its 2002 with V6 I just changed out the filter with a free flow it might be just me but i do see a change arout 2000 rpms. Im looking at exaust right now or changing out the TB i dont know alot about mods that i can do. first should i change the TB first or exaust first what would you recomend on both. i want something that just bolts on if possible.

do you gain anything if you keep or loose the cat converter -- i live in an area that i dont have any type of fumes testing so i can get away with it

Better crawl under yor truck and check, my 01 has 3 CATS.... 2 pre CATS and 1 main CAT, some of the 4.7 guys have taken the 3rd CAT out but I don't know of anyone with 3.9 doing so.
