I just orderd 1 for my self at summitracing.com
for $138 everything to replace your exhaust from
the cat back clamps included at a great price
Will let you know how it sounds it will be here
fryday and on the truck within an hour after it
arives.
Sorrie I have not been here latly just been so
darn busy
WLK-17443 in the search at summit will pull it up
Dynomax is what used to be the walker exhst co.

Good to see your still here, I hope the dynomax exhaust works for your truck. My son order a dynomax catback exhaust for his 92 shortbed from JEGS, I think it was 2.75" exhaust. I will have to find out which dynomax it was not sure.

I put the part number in at the JEGS web site and it came up with the same exhaust at the same price. JEGS part number 289-17443. I like dealing with Summitalways have had good luck with them.

It is a 2 3/4 system that is why I want to try it
3" shows a loss on low end 2 3/4 may not will find
out.
But the price can not be beat for any system your
looking at almost $300
Everyone likes to save money with the gas prices
we have today
360 vortech motor running great now doing an 05
hemi truck headers this sat. always busy here

My son said he noticed quit an increase in top end on his Dakota, he's runing a Fastman 46mm TB on his truck. He's running the Jacob's ultra coil and accel extreme 9000 spark plug wires. His intake manifold has also been port matched, the runners cleaned up, injectors holes reamed. He is also running a 180 degree thermostat with the jet chip. His truck has the 3inch exhaust to the cat and 2.75 inches out. He believes he has lost a little bit on the low end. I know you have mods on your truck so it may give it more of an improvement.

For a guy who is suppose to be retired you sure manage to keep yourself busy. I guess when performance is your passion there is not such thing as retirement. Have you heard of the 3R's retired, recycled, retired. You can take the mechanic out of the shop. But you can't take shop out the mechanic, that's why he keeps going and going and going.

The 17443 is a kit muffler, tail pipe front pipe
adapter and clamps but you will need 1 2 1/2
clamp
the muff is a 17797
If you like to hear your motor its great not
overly loud if you want a little quiter close
to the 17748 and the factory 2 1/2 tail use a
10" hooker resonater tip 22006 and it sounds
great the tip is $26

Larry, When you get your new exhaust, it would interesting to know if you have picked up any gains. Will you have your truck dyno'ed after installing it.
