Message: Does anyone know where I can find my trucks paint code? Its a 2001 rc. My truck decided to get into a fight with a rock and came out with some battle scars.

Message: You should be able to find it on the label inside the driver's door jamb. It may be on the door itself. The code itself is usually at the very bottom right corner of the label. I believe it consists of letters and numbers. I think it starts with PT...or PNT but I can't remember. Been a long time.

Message: Isn't the paint code also on the glovebox sticker? That's where I have found mine. A little easier to clear out the glovebox than to pull up the carpet...

Message: Ha, You can find it in your glovebox, for real. I think all chryslers work that way. The label there will tell you all kinds of stuff about your truck. Like it's axle specs, transmission, and other cool stuff.
It's about the only thing the glovebox is good for in the Dakota! ;-)
