Subject: noises..? IP: Logged
Message: Alright well I had a previous problem on turns, it would make a grinding noise. Sometimes I would drive straight and itd make a circular grinding noise....The guy said it was somethign in the cadilatic converter, well now...
It makes a high pitched noise as I drive it when I am moving....when I make left hand turns it still makes the grinding noise, right turns are not as bad...It also kind of jumps if I accelerate so I heard it could be U-joints for my old problem.
When the problem happened it did it off and on and thats when I got it checked, so I dont really know if he heard the right noise.
So my question is what do you think it is, do you think it is the U-joints/would they make a high pitch squealing noise..(not rteally high pitch) or what do you think...
Thanks for any advice....

Message: Is your truck a 4x4? If it is check the front cv boots. If they are cracked or if have a small tear the fluid inside that does the lubrication leaks out. This well cause them to go and make the sound you describe.
