Message: i had kinda the same problem with my 00 quad cab. i replaced the cap, rotor, wires and plugs and it has been fine eversince. turns out that i had a lot of corosion on the plug wire terminals on the cap and the rotor as well. check that first before you take it somewhere. remove the cap and look at the terminals inside the cap to see if there is a lot of build up on them.
GET IN, SIT DOWN, SHUTUP, AND HOLD ON

Message: yup, you already got the new coil and wires.
cap and rotor are 10 bucks at autozone or if you go good and get a brass contact cap and rotor its 23 bucks.
platinum champion plugs are 6 bucks a piece(you could go cheaper or more expensive)
the injector stuff, did you mix it double strength and get the stuff that says every 6 months or a year?

Message: dude what is $2000, you mean 2000rpm's or 2000 miles because if you paid $2000 bucks for a coil, new wires and a diagnostic you really got screwed buddy, but anyway try replacing the cap, rotor, and install different plugs and you should have no more rough misfires.
