 Subject: boggleing noise in engine

Have a 2000 dodge dakota sport 2.5L. I am hearing a boggle type noise in the engine. Seems more noticeable when at higher R.P.M. Also very noticeable when towing a trailer. Only 77,000 miles on it and just had major tune up done. Also effecting the shifting of transmission

Check for vacuum leak ?
Somebody probably "jarred " or otherwise
upset or forgot to put back a vacuum connection
hose !
