Read the whole post, it says 3.9 & 5.2, pretty much the same motor where talkin. Also why does his name say reliable3.9? Gee I wonder cuz its V6 dumbazz.

Yeah the 239/318 is one of the most reliable motors on the road today. Easily capable of 200-250k if the tranny holds up.

Not knocking dodge by any means, but, I think the most reliable engine ever built (in my opinion, remember that) was the 22R series Toyota 4-cylinder (Model # 22R, 22RE, 22RET). I had a 91 Toyota Pickup with 497K on the original engine and trans, and was still running great. If only the frame hadn't rusted in half....

i agree with schmitmike, i have a toyota also and i am thinking of taking the engine & tranny out and swapping it in my dakota! that would be a first i bet nobody has done that before. lol
